An audience of over 60 people filled the hall at the Beit Shean Guest House. The audience included volunteers from organizations such as: volunteers from neighborhood civil guards, g'mach volunteers from Beit Shean, Community Builders, women volunteers from Isha project, volunteers from social services, civil service Scouts volunteers, volunteers for the elderly and many more.
These many people took part of a three hour workshop organized by Oshrat Barel, Community Builders Program Director and Miri Davidovitz, Community Builders Program Coordinator together with Community Builders who participated in a Leadership convention in Eilat six months ago. The workshop was called "Volunteerism as an expression of a belief and a tool for influencing and creating a change".
Yori Hirschfeld, a phenomenal lecturer and an actor led the workshop, where the message of the evening was: "the volunteer is not taken for granted, has set expectations, needs to treated seriously and expects back seriousness."
