"AMBASSADORS FOR TOLERANCE" TO SOUTH AFRICA
by Mickey Blumberg, IUA South Africa Community Representative

The Ambassadors for Tolerance Beit Shemesh-Adulam group is in Johannesburg for one week, after which they will go to Cape Town for one week. They have a most interesting itinerary and a series of lectures on the Jewish Community, the various cultures in SA and the process of building a new SA after Apartheid.

They are being hosted by the Ambasssadors whom they hosted in April . The parents formed a committee and became very involved in the preparation of the Reciprocal Visit. They are also assisting in the transport and catering arrangements. We have found that the teachers who accompanied the various groups to Israel and who came on P2K seminars (at the expense of the IUA ) have been very helpful in advancing the P2K message.
