LAMITNADEV COLLECTS FOOD FOR NEEDY

Yuri, a 17-year-old immigrant from Russia, volunteers to help Lamitnadev and Latet collect food for Beit Shemesh's needy
Lamitnadev joined forces with Israel's Latet organization:

  • Latet provided Lamitnadev with half a ton of foodstuffs, which Lamitnadev distributed in accord with recommendations of the Beit Shemesh Social Welfare Department.
  • Volunteers recruited by Lamitnadev - in cooperation with Latet - collected 40 crates food at two Beit Shemesh supermarkets, and distributed them in cooperation with local activists. "You can't imagine how important this work is," said Beit Shemesh resident David Zrihan, who has been active in organizing activity for Beit Shemesh's needy residents. "The economy is very bad and many Beit Shemesh residents literally do not have what to eat."
