South African Youth and Lamitnadev "Paint Beit Shemesh"

Beit Shemesh hosted some 400 South African youth this week, in a mega-mission organized by the Jewish Agency's Israel Center in Johannesburg. The Lamitnadev Voluntary Association , established with assistance from the Partnership, organized a special hands-on volunteer opportunity for the youth - painting and beautifying the Adayahu and Elyakim schools in Beit Shemesh.

The activity at the schools forms just one component of Lamitnadev's comprehensive social and physical upgrade program at the schools, conducted in coordination with the schools' PTA and neighborhood committee, under the guidance of Tel Aviv University's School of Architecture.
