Social Business Incubator Forming to Encourage Growth in Beit Shemesh and Mateh Yehuda

Do you have an idea for a social enterprise and  looking for ways to promote it professionally?

Have you always known your idea is great but did not know how to translate it into money?

Recently, a unique, one-of-a-kind incubator for new social-related businesses has been established in the region. An office at BIG Beit Shemesh will be opened in May.

The idea behind the incubator is to leverage the spirit of the businesses and the local foundations in order to help them become live businesses that are  profitable and developing. It will include the following aspects:

Work Space -  which includes a work station, wireless internet, kitchen, meeting room, and a chance to join a caring community at a symbolic price.

Training Programs and Courses- in the field of the business in general and in the social aspect in particular.   Courses in marketing, starting a business and more..

Personal Mentoring- businesspeople can receive mentors and create a tailored mentoring plan according to their specific needs. The incubator also has access to the subsidized mentoring options of "MATI" or the regional tourism incubator that uses mentors from the region.

Accessibility to Funding sources - the incubator is a source of knowledge in referring to funds that give loans with favorable conditions, including a unique funding program with "Bank Hapoalim" for the incubator fellows.

The incubator was established as a part of the Israel 15 initiative of Partnership 2000 - Beit Shemesh - Mateh Yehuda - Washington of the Jewish Agency in cooperation with private enterprises and the local authorities. The project leader is Paz Cohen an entrepreneur from Moshav Ora of Mateh Yehuda.

Registration price for the first 10 subscribers - only 500 ¤ a month.
