Immediately after Sukkoth, a program called "Maccabim" began to operate in our region  - Community Leadership with Jewish  context. Run for the 4th year in a row by Partnership 2000.

In recent months, many interviews were conducted and the final group consisting of 17 participants shall study and meet every week in the coming year.

Course Topics will be varied, covering  the length and breadth of Jewish culture, text will stream throughout the periods, the Bible and modern writings.

The group will also touch the subject of community and Jewish renewal.

Similar  study groups operate in South Africa and Washington, the Israeli group  will visit the group that operates in Washington during January, a week of joint study and familiarity with the Jewish community in Washington.
