I am honored to serve as Co-Chair of P2G for Mateh-Yehuda community. The partnership has played a significant role in developing and empowering both social and economical Entrepreneurship in the region. We have also strengthened ties with overseas communities in South Africa and Greater Washington.
Recently we have seen major changes in the region, the communities and in the partnership. Some of the changes are welcome, volunteers stepping up and taking charge of projects and community building, good and fruitful connections with municipalities and so on.
Some face challenges, the economic crisis and its outcome, the wellness of the partner communities. All these will have to be addressed and assessed strategically by us. This will lead to modifications of partnership and activities.
Our local community has lately been the center of media interest and not for the best. We have been addressed as a local symptom to a national challenge. Partnership, Partners, employees and volunteers will all be working during the next few months to show that our community has more in common than in debate.
We are launching a few ideas and programs to address co-existence in the region.
As proven before by us, our future is within our hands.
