120 children, graduates of 3rd - 6th grades, participated this year in the "Kefiada". Two "Kefiada" (English Summer Camps) took place this summer by the Partnership 2000 of the Jewish Agency, cooperating with the Carmiel and Misgav Community Centers. One camp took place in Carmiel, the other in Misgav. The directors of the camps were Hila Zonstern from Carmiel and Yuli Kedem from Hararit at Misgav's camp.

During the camp the children improved their English skills through many fun activities, such as: American sports day, Environment day, a virtual tour in the U.S.A, challenging activities, cooking , mystery day, Magic day and more.

Two counselors (college students)- Meredith Levine from Pittsburgh and Julia Schechter from Baltimore arrived especially to Israel, in order to guide these camps and they lead the camp among with English speaking young counselors from Carmiel and Misgav and "Bnot Sherut" from Misgav.

Aside from their work in the camp, the counselors took afternoon trips guided by the camps directors, took part in the Dance Festival and volunteered at the Carmiel absorption center.

The counselors stayed at the Absorption Center in Carmiel and were hosted by families from the Shorashim community center on the weekends.
