The efforts of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit's Partnership 2000 program continue to bear fruit for the Yozmot HaEmek-Ofek LaOleh Technological Incubator in the Jezre'el Valley. At the initiative of the Detroit Federation, the University of Michigan Business School sends teams of MBA students to the incubator in order to write business plans for incubator project companies. Three student teams arrived during the month of March to compile data that will enable them to write the business plans that will provide the project entrepreneurs with the information they need to make crucial decisions as to how to penetrate the US and other markets. This is the fourth year of collaboration between the University of Michigan and the incubator and twelve business plans have now been written.
"The student teams bring us firsthand knowledge of the US market" reports Elie Englender, Yozmot HaEmek Director, "their knowledge and skills are invaluable to the process of finding investors or strategic partners for our projects and providing accurate assessments of all the factors and risks involved in the marketing of high-tech products".
