|
Partnership 2000 socially active citizens and volunteers in the Central Galilee convened this week in three different locations - the Members' Club in Nahalal, the Matnason in Migdal HaEmek and the Women Center in Nazareth Illit, to celebrate Tub Bishvat Seders.
More than two hundred volunteers attended the Seders, sitting around tables laden with the finest fruits of our country. The participants read a special Hagaddah for Tu Bishvat produced by Partnership 2000 and Midreshet Oranim, sang songs and exalting the goodness of Eretz Israel and the glory of nature.
Speaking to participants, the Partnership 2000 Central Galilee Regional Manager, Robert Berl, said that the success of the Tu Bishvat Seders in three locations prove that our connection to Eretz Israel is not only religious. Robert Berl added that the festival of Tu Bishvat, has become an Israeli holiday that ties and commits us to preserving our Country as a good and pleasant place to live.
The Partnership 2000 Education Programs Coordinator, Ilanit Sabo-Seger, applauded the Partnership volunteers and said that the success of three seders are a proof of their dedication to the local community and the Region.
In light of the success of the Seders this year, Partnership 2000 intends to expand the number of participants next year.
