A mission from Ann Arbor paid a visit to Nofim School in Migdal HaEmek at the end of the month. The visitors smiled excitedly as they were received in a manner customary in the biblical times of Abraham-two children from the Youth Futures program dressed up like Abraham and Sarah and extended the guests a very unique welcome. The mission's members and the Youth Futures children then proceeded to the Youth Futures room for a group activity.
Later on the visitors, along with the Youth Futures staff, took part in a well-planned 'March of Books' ceremony. Children of each age group chose and presented a slogan for promoting the reading of books.
The visit concluded with a gathering that brought together members of the mission, Shulamit Melach, the school principal, Reut Benderheim, the Youth Futures community coordinator, and Youth Futures trustees.
