On Sunday June 22, 2008 a group of five young people left Eshkol to be counselors in the summer camps of the Jewish community of North-East New York. They all took part in an extensive course preparing them for their task as counselors which included familiarizing them with Partnership 2000 and helped form them into a cohesive group.
The members of the group are: Lior Conn and Nicholas Warboef from Kibbutz Holit, Matan Ephrati from Kibbutz Sufa, Morine Ben Yishai from Kibbutz Reim and Raz Azrieli from Kibbutz Kerem Shalom.
This is the second time a group of counselors are going to North-East New York from Eshkol. The counselors will be spending about two months at camp and during this period they will be guests in the homes of members of the Jewish community.
We wish them great success and are sure they will do us proud.
