To all our partners, Shalom!
We hereby summarize a year plenty of activities and experiences at Net@.
Two weeks ago, 6 students sited the external certification exam called CCENT.
All the students did well and successfully passed the exam with very high grades, becoming thus certified Computer Net Technicians.
The other members of the group will sit this exam by mid August, since they should finish the technological studies marathon previous to their flight to Mexico.
Regarding delegations and summer activities, following is an update of the activities of which Net@ students participate during the summer:
- Delegation to Mexico - Ido Lanel, Segev Tamir and Gilad Katz flew to Mexico to instruct Jewish teens in Mexico City. They came back with exciting stories and experiences and told us that the instruction workshop they had this year as part of the social studies program, was of great help for them in this instruction mission.
- Ecamp Technological Camp - Ronen Ofer, Yogev Dardik, Ido Lanel, Uri Yaakovi and Reuven Peper are presently participating of the technological camp. Since they have a very busy schedule and their cell phones are not available, I haven't had much contact with them yet, but I am sure they are enjoying themselves and learning a lot.
- Teleprocessing Gadna (military like training program)- Two days after finishing the Ecamp, Uri Yaakovi and Ronen Ofer will take part of the first Teleprocessing Gadna organized by the Communications Unit of the Army and Net@. This program aims at identifying those Net@ students who can undertake studies at the Communications Unit of the Israeli Army, and can acquire experience and vast knowledge in the computers net technical field and potentially become future reserve officers at the Communications Unit.
In addition, the activities of 4th year Net@ students are just about to start. This year differs from the previous ones since it deals with youth leadership development, emphasizing community work and personal development among Net@ students.
I would like to congratulate the 25 new students from Eshkol Regional Council who have recently joined Net@. They will start forging team spirit at the English Camp that begins on next August 19th.
Looking forward to the continuation of enjoyable and productive activities.
