On Friday, July 16th, the eight young counselors from Eshkol who participated in the summer camps in Mexico finally came back to Israel.
Despite the rain, which presented some difficulties to carry out the original program, the visit was considered a success.
The counselors run activities dealing with Eshkol and with P2K, and learned a lot about the community of Mexico.
During the weekend, the delegation members were received as guests at Hanna Magen's, Peppe Bachar's, Ionat Pesteg's and Daniel Bralowsky's. They went out for a tour at Mexico City's spots, participated in a meeting of the Sepharadic-Sionist Board and finally visited the "Deportivo" - the Jewish Cultural Center.
The groups in each camp were consolidated, unified and practical.
I take this opportunity to thank Miriam Zaga, for making sure the young counselors were hosted with politeness and generosity, and for accompanying them throughout the whole stay, from their arrival in Mexico till the minute they embarked on their flight back to Israel.
I would like to wish good luck to all the young counselors who came back from their mission and to thank them from their cooperation.
Sincerely,
Tal Klamer - Living Bridge Coordinator.
