At the beginning of November, we unveiled a special project for the council's elementary school children: Children Draw a Calendar.

In the calendar project, we examined the song "Friends" by Dudu Barak, in the spirit of whose lyrics Grade 4 pupils from the two elementary schools in the council, along with Grade 4 pupils from Albany in northeastern New York, illustrated the joint calendar.

The calendars were sent to the United States, and were also distributed to all the elementary school pupils in the council.

Each calendar contained different drawings from different classes.

I hope that projects of this kind will enrich the partnership and the ties.
