After a prolonged process of personal interviews, a screening workshop and a long preparatory workshop, 10 young people were chosen from Eshkol: Uriel Serota, Or Uzan, Lidor Asulin, Shir Peled, Adi Blumfeld, Tal Carmon, Lior Sheleg, Yehonatan Sakrisavski, Galit Slimson and Keren Vasser.
At the beginning of July, the group left to work as counselors in summer camps in Mexico.
The counselors' delegation participated fully in preparing activities for camps of the different movements in Mexico. As part of the preparation process, the delegation met with two youth counselors from the Moshavim Movement, a representative of the Habonim Dror movement from Mexico and a representative of the international Hashomer Hatzair.
All together contributed to building and consolidating a quality group, which did a wonderful job in representing Partnership 2000, Eshkol and Israel in a respectable manner.
The counselors' trip lasted for 10 days, and they enjoyed every moment, formed new ties with the counselors from Mexico, youth movement members and host families.
