On September 25, Randy Shapiro, the steering committee chair from Northeastern New York, held a short visit to Eshkol.

Randy first met with the incoming Israeli steering committee chair, Yardena Vissoker, at her home in Sde Nitzan. Also participating in the meeting were Susan, Batya and Oshra, members of the Israeli steering committee.

From there we went on to visit the R&D station and the Halutzit localities, where they saw the new synagogue, which is still in construction. In conclusion, we gathered for a work meeting and summary at a chef's restaurant in a private home in Sde Nitzan.
