After about a year of correspondence between Grade 8 pupils from Nofei Habesor and Grade 8 pupils from Bet Shraga Hebrew Academy in Northeastern New York, Grade 8 pupils from Bet Shraga came to visit in Eshkol.

The visit was held on Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The visit started with the school's Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony, which was very moving for everyone.

After the ceremony, the pupils visited Mitzpe Gvulot together, ate lunch in Kibbutz Tze'elim and ended with a visit to the division base at Re'im.

After a tour of the base and a meeting with soldiers, they went to the synagogue of the base and recited a prayer on behalf of the soldiers.
