At the end of June, about 50 students from the University at Albany came for a visit to Eshkol.

The students met with the new steering committee chair, Yardena Vissoker, and with the chairman of the Gesher Lekesher committee, Efraim Perlmutter.

They visited the Steel Division Memorial and the Halutzit localities, and toured the "Salad Trail" in Talmei Yosef, where they tasted different varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers and strawberries, and even learned how to release pigeons.
