Mezuzot to Electric Company: Employment, Judaism and Immigrant Absorption

Ethiopian Art Mezuza
Ethiopian immigrant women present mezuzot to Israel Electric Company management.
The Israel Electric Company's Haifa headquarters has more than 1,000 doors. Thanks to the Haifa-Boston Connection, the Leo Beack and Neve Yosef community centers, each of those doors now has an artistic Mezuza on it, the work of recent Ethiopian Olot living in Haifa.

More than 50 women take part in work group projects at the community centers.
