Chigwell & Hainault Synagogue is an Orthodox synagogue on the North-East edge of London, near Epping Forest. The community has around 750 members, having more than tripled in size during the last 20 years. Although the community is Orthodox, the degree of personal religious observance of the members varies, in common with other communities within the United Synagogue. It is a friendly community with people of all ages.

The Community Rabbi is Baruch Davis; the Chairman is Jonathan Fisher and the two ladies responsible for co-ordinating the visit are Michele Waxman and Helena Rosenberg.
