Ma'ale Yosef youth bring Israeli spirit to Hanoar Hatzioni Summer Camp in Great Britain

At the end of July, a group of six hanichim with a madrich from Ma'ale Yosef traveled to the Hanoar Hatzioni Summer Camp in the UK. During the ten day camp they met with British youth their own age, got to know each other and gained an understanding of their daily reality.

The British and Israeli youth had  the opportunity to take an in depth look at issues relevant to personal and Jewish identity, the role of Israel and the importance of the connection between Jewish communities in Great Britain and the Confrontation Line region.

The Israeli youth became a leading force as they implemented various activities about Israel, the Galilee and Ma'ale Yosef to all the camp participants.

On their return to Israel the hanichim will keep in touch with their British peers through Facebook and e-mails until next summer, when they will meet again as the Israelis join the Hanoar Hatzioni Israel Tour for three weeks of travel in Israel, during which the Tour will experience the warm home hospitality typical of the Ma'ale Yosef region.
