Yesterday, December 17, a first ever face to face call was held between Russian decent participants from both Kfar Saba and Columbus in hopes to create yet another beautiful bond between us all. Dan Rosen, partnership 2000 chairman with Shaliach Avi Kagan led the call on the Columbus side; Aliza Regev led the call on the Kfar Saba side, and wrote about it. Please find the moving and personal impressions of that wonderful conversation.
Yasher Koach to all.

Dear Friends,
The first P2P contact between representatives of the Kfar-Saba Russian community and those from Columbus, took place yesterday.Ira Kaufman, a Galron singer, who already visited Columbus with Galron, and Yona Mykler, a leading figure in the local Russian community established the contact.
The video conference call was friendly and pleasant and lasted quite a long time. I understood several words only (Yom Ha'Atzmaut, Holocaust Day and a name of a street) – my Russian is not that strong…but I could feel that they were truly bonding.
Following the call, I took the time to tell them about the P2K various programs we are operating, and they expressed interest to join the steering committee and help. Maybe representatives from the Russian community in Columbus would also be keen to lend a hand?
I think this will be the beginning of a beautiful friendship,
Love,
Aliza
