The event was attended by all Net@ students (currently numbering 80), the Kfar-Saba Mayor, Municipality management and employees, Net@ management, the Columbus-Kfar-Saba steering committee, parents and dignitaries.
Technology diplomas were distributed to deserving students and the team informed the crowd on last year activities and success.
Yehuda Ben-Hamu, the Mayor of Kfar-Saba praised the program and talked about the special connection with Columbus, who continues to support the program training a new generation of high-tech professional serving later in the IDF Communication corps.
Mr. Ben-Hamu informed the audience that the program developed into a "brand name" in town, with 10 candidates competing on every place. The Mayor regretted that we are not able to open three new classes every year, and expressed his wish that we will be able to raise more funds for the program.
The students thanked Leonor Zusman for enabling the construction of the new Net@ building, and invited the Zusman daughters Marilyn Cole and Francie Zusman-Sena to visit the building and be proud.
The new class in embarking on a long trail, involving efforts and persistence, that could change the future of this youngsters.
