It is this time of the year again, and we keep our wonderful tradition celebrating Hanukkah together. On the first day of Hanukkah, we conducted a joint holiday celebration using a video conference call with the New Albany JCC preschool and the "Hearts" day care children.

The "Hearts" children were very excited. They prepared songs, dances and recitations, and were eagerly waiting to see their friends in Columbus. Unfortunately we had some technical problems. We use a cellular modem, and the carrier experienced a crash of its whole network that same day. We managed to recruit replacement equipment, our children could see the JCC children on a giant screen we have installed, but regrettably the Columbus children could only hear us. Yet, we managed to celebrate with parents and many guests.

Meir Alonim, chairman of the Kfar-Saba steering committee lit the candles, and we all sang and danced.
