I am pleased to share with you an additional good activity taking place at the wonderful Leonore and Larry Zusman Net@ center in the mornings, when the Net@ students are at school.
Since last week, a special course named "Microsoft UP" for advancement of unemployed women began operating at the center. It addresses over 20 unemployed women looking for new positions. Most used to work in office jobs, and came to improve their skills in computers and Office.

Four organizations are working together to instill technology skills and operate empowerment workshops for the jobless women. The Israeli Employment Service is tracing and sorting the women, and takes care of their future employment. Wizo - Women's International Zionists Organization is operating 3 empowerment workshops and provides follow-up. Microsoft developed and donated the learning program. Appleseed Academy is operating and managing the project.

The course has 18 sessions, each contains 5 hours. We are so pleased that we can provide the site for such a wonderful program.
