Dear Friends,

It was my great pleasure to recently attend a piano concert at the Wizo Music Conservatory in Tiberias, which was a performance by, Ewa Plonka, the winner of the OKIE Young Artists Piano Competition.  I had the opportunity to meet with Hadar Binya, Max Hassine, and Mali Turjeman, who all had the nicest things to say about the relationship between Tulsa and Tiberias.

It was marvelous to witness with my own eyes the impact of this beautiful new piano to the school.  It is an honor to be associated with such a great organization.

On a side note, we were having a little trouble communicating with the taxi driver exactly where we needed to go for the concert.  However, when he finally understood, he had a real ah-ha moment because he said..."of course I know where that is, I went to school there as a young boy for singing lessons".
