A message of farewell to Modi'in steering committee members Zehorit, Erfrat and Katzeleh, as well as extraordinary Chair Hila, from Rochester Chair Leslie Crane:
On behalf of the Rochester Steering Committee I wanted to say a fond farewell to three dear friends, Zehorit, Efrat and Katzeleh. All were founding members of the Partnership Committee and were key to the vision, growth and success of our partnership.
Zehorit through her work on the Education Bridge and hosting us at her home, Efrat through her involvement with the cultural exchanges and Katzeleh with his dedication to the Education Bridge and JFI, have all been critical voices at our meetings and incredibly dedicated volunteers. We will miss them not only at meetings but we will miss their presence as part of our family. Our hope is that they will continue to attend our reunions and stay connected to us all.
You are also saying goodbye to Hila as Co -Chair of the Committee. Although we spoke about this at our meetings in April, we can never thank Hilla enough for her years of dedicated leadership and devotion to the partnership, even during the most difficult personal times for her and her family. I know that Omri and I will continue to count on her wisdom and guidance as we move into our next year of programming and meetings.
My only wish is that we could be with you in person to share hugs and kisses as we always do when we get together – especially when we say thank you and farewell to some of our dearest friends.
With love from all your partners on the Rochester Steering Committee
Sincerely
Leslie
