Forty pupils from Nahariya's Amal High School and Ulpanat Harel who take part in a young leadership group run by the Jewish Agency's Partnership 2000 project, celebrated Purim with residents of the city.
The pupils distributed mishlochei manot and involved residents in singing/dancing and other activities in homes for the aged, the Tapuz Absorption Center, and in Akim and Enosh.
Throughout the course the participating pupils put the skills they learn to practical use on behalf of the city of Nahariya and its connection to the Jewish community of Northern New Jersey.
