A birthright israel group of 40 university students from Broward County, Florida, included a visit to Nesher during their ten day program.
The students spent an afternoon visiting Haifa University speaking to overseas students as well as visiting Nesher. The students participated in a "mifgash" (encounter) with the residents of Nesher that included fun and creative activities. It was a pleasure to watch the faces of all of the students both young and old as they sang together, made bracelets and later, during dinner, chatted, laughed and exchanged dialogue. The beautiful thing was that by the end of the evening nobody could tell which students belonged to which community!
