Sharon Wolfson and Talia Hasid participated in the Partnership 2000 Nesher Broward County Face 2 Face program in Nesher.
This unique program offers volunteers the opportunity to live and volunteer in the city and to become an integral part of the community.
Sharon and Talia volunteered in three locations: the Yeshurun Elementary School, the Senior Center and the Afternoon Learning Center. Local families hosted Sharon and Talia for dinner.
This important program gives not only to the community, but to the volunteers as well. We look forward to having the opportunity to host them again.

"Our trip to Nesher has been a true highlight of our time in Israel. We thoroughly enjoyed volunteering in the seniors home and visiting the schools to tutor students in English. We felt extremely welcomed by the warmth of the Nesher community. The home hospitality's were eye opening experiences that allowed us to meet wonderful families. The sincerity and kindheartedness of these families made us feel comfortable and at home. The apartment we stayed in accommodated all of our needs; its convenient location made us feel like members of the community as it was located within walking distance of everything we needed. We are so grateful for the generous hospitality we received throughout our time spent in Nesher. We hope to return to this wonderful community in the future and we cannot wait to be welcomed back to our home away from home."
