Women's Mission Encounter
20.4.2009

It was a freezing night, so typical of Jerusalem in the winter, when we drove there to meet our sisters from Philadelphia - prettier than ever, with shining eyes, hugging arms and a sensitive, loving heart. We were thrilled to see them. I was thinking to myself: "How lucky I am to know these women, so unique and powerful." My neighbors at the table were Ann and her friends from Philadelphia. A short conversation with them proved that Ann's love is contagious…

I was especially excited when I was introduced to a lady in the group - a very fine lady. While we were talking, she mentioned that she is not Jewish. I immediately told her that for me she is definitely Jewish! It is in these difficult times for us in Israel that we cherish this support and love even more.
"Ashrey Ha'am She'ele Banav" - Blessed is the nation having such great children…

Sincerely,
Ruhama
