This year the Partnership 2000 Ofakim-Merhavim-Metro-West March was held in May. The theme was "Tourism in the Negev." Some 2000 people participated in the colorful march which took place in the northern area of the Merhavim Regional Council.

Children from all of the region's schools, along with senior citizens from Ofakim, Merhavim and Tel Aviv (the oldest of them was 94 years old) marched in the fields and squares of the veteran moshavim. At the finish line, local young talent performed in a colorful performance of songs and dances.
