Following the successful hosting of the sheriffs' delegation from New Jersey by the Ofakim Police Department, policemen from Ofakim received an invitation to be hosted in New Jersey.

A delegation of three policemen arrived in New Jersey in May, 2006. They were hosted by the community and accompanied volunteers from the Metro-West community on a bicycle trek to raise donations for widows and orphans of the Police Departments in the USA.

Afterwards, they participated in a large conference held in Washington. This delegation was considered to be highly successful.
