Between June 2005 - July 2006, a number of delegations have visited our region. Some stayed for only a few hours, while others arrived in the framework of a structured program. The following delegations visited for a short stay:

*  Leadership delegation from the Metro-West community which arrived during September. The high point of the visit was the dedication of "Friendship Square" to commemorate the close connection between the Metro-West and Ofakim communities.

* A delegation from the Young Leadership Division came to Ofakim-Merhavim during the month of March and visited the various Partnership projects. This delegation stayed for one week with representatives from Ofakim-Merhavim at the "Tel Aviv 1" conference.

* The American and Israeli members of the Steering Committee gathered in Ofakim for intense deliberations regarding the 2006-2007 budget during March.
