In the last few years, the environmental Adloyada parade, put on by the students of the High School for Environmental Education in Ramat Hanegev, has turned into one of the biggest events of its kind in Israel.

Despite the wintry weather, over 5,000 spectators from all over the country came to watch the colorful Purim parade of recycled animals and cartoon characters, all the students' handiwork.
The Purim parade tradition has taken place for more than 20 years, involving the entire education system. The youngsters choose the theme themselves, study about it on their own, decide on the figures and content to be presented in the parade, and build the gigantic figures and floats during the entire month preceding the event.

This year our one-of-a-kind event won great exposure in Israel and abroad. Even Reuters and CNN asked for photos.
