A March of the Living delegation from Chai High in San Antonio, Texas visited Ort Darsky in Akko. During the year the students participated in a joint educational curriculum through Partnership 2000 and the visit was the highlight of the year's activity. The joint visit, organized by Partnership 2000 of the Jewish Agency for Israel, included the Yad Layeled in the Ghetto Fighters' Museum, and special activities for Israel Memorial Day.
The Akko students presented a flower and a personal note to each San Antonio participant upon arrival.
Partnership 2000 promotes people-to-people relationships between our Jewish community and Israel's Western Galilee through cultural, social, educational and economic programs. San Antonio along with 12 other cities in the central United States, is linked with the Western Galilee, located in the most northern part of Israel on (along) the Mediterranean coast.
