Please join us as we share our work and experiences from the Yitzhak International Arts Festival with our home community.

Saturday, November 26: The Canton Museum of Art 6:00 - 8:00 pm:

Opening of "Yitzhak in Canton" exhibit of work from the Yitzhak International Arts Festival, in conjunction with "Art of the Rainforest".

This family oriented reception will feature animals from the Rainforest from the Cleveland Zoo and kid friendly snacks.

The Yitzhak in Canton exhibit features work from Israel, Canton and several other participating U.S. communities and will be on view until January 6. Different work from the participating communities will presented at the Canton Museum of Art from January 16 until February 26.

Sunday, November 27: Yitzhak at the Canton Jewish Community Center.

2:00pm - General Viewing

View work by students from area schools along with their Israeli counterparts at the Canton Jewish community Center. Featuring GlenOak-Sulam Zur Photography Project, work by Israeli artist Nurit Cedarbaum and selections from the Yitzhak Tent Project.

3:30pm - Festival Forum

Join artists join in an open forum about the project, featuring a film overview by Bill Weidner of Channel 11.

7:00pm - Reader's Theater Play "Our Past is Our Future"

Written by Canton Playwright, Bill Shankle, this piece was inspired by his attendance of the Yitzhak Festival in Israel.

Fire Sculpture: December 5, 7:30 pm

A unique piece of sculpture is in progress on the grounds of the Canton Community Jewish Center. View the unveiling of this glowing ceramic sculpture by artists Dominica Sanchez and Jeff Kohut.

Yitzhak in Canton is made possible by the Goldsmith Foundation, a supporting organization of Stark Community Foundation.
