Friends:
For those of you who didn't have the good fortune to make it to Lake High School last night, you really missed something special. There were over 300 hundred people in the audience, including the Lake H.S.
orchestra to hear Keshet Eilon players Hed Yaron-Meirson and Semion
Gavriko, vages 18 and 22 respectively play along with accompanyist Julia Gurvitch. Their concert the night before at Kent Stark was also astounding, and "blew away" many in the over 120 audience members with their professional talent. But the concert at Lake was received by the orchestra teenagers and their families almost like a rock concert. At the start, they didn't know what they were getting into.
By the end, they were giving standing ovations at the end of every piece. When the musicians walked in the hallway to the dessert Reception, they were greeted by gushing teenage girls in their formal orchestra dresses pleading for autographs!
Thanks to Lake High School and Arlene Scott, Marilyn Feldman, Martha Lottman, Keshet Eilon and many others!
