How can a single school twin with three other schools and maintain quality relationships with all of them? The answer can be found at Akko's Weizmann School.
In preparation for Purim, Weizman pupils put together "spiritual mishlochei manot" (Purim baskets) for their peers at the twin Lippman and Akiva schools in Akron, Ohio, and at the Adat Chaverim School in Dallas, Texas.
The Weizmann pupils made flags with illustrations from the Scroll of Esther and symbols of the Purim holiday. The flags were laminated and sent to the three schools, for use as Purim decorations.
According to Weizmann teacher Anat Barabi, the ongoing relationship between the Diaspora schools is clearly beneficial to the pupils, and "upgrades" the schools' pre-holiday activity.
Happy Purim to Jews around the world!
