As the last of the nine incredible volunteers left Yokneam it became very clear the impact they have had on our community. The families with which they stayed have said goodbye to their newest members and their Israeli co-madrichim have said goodbye to their new adored friends. The kids from the camp have experienced a unique connection this summer and their coordinators have been inspired by their dedication and determination to make a difference.

I am already looking forward to my next meeting with them in the years to come when they each come back in their own time to visit their home in Israel, Yokneam.
