Haverim Yikareem:
As we in St. Louis read the news and see the pictures on t.v., our thoughts and prayers are with you, your families and all your and our friends as you endure the terrible events concerning Gaza.
It is at times like these that our partnership and all the close relationships that have developed over the years has so much meaning and resonates so strongly.
Although we can never know the anxiety and trauma you must be feeling right now, still your worries are our worries, your fears are our fears, and your desire for a quick end to the fighting and the establishment of secure borders is our fervent desire as well.
As the prayer says: “Let there be abundant peace from Heaven, with life’s goodness for us and for all the people Israel.”
B’ahava, Susie
