We had a great time with the Birthright  group from St. Louis that visited the Region on the 10th of May.

They were welcomed by the basketball and soccer players. After refreshments they all changed into the new T-shirts we gave them,

“Shalom from the partnership community of Yokneam Megiddo”.

The Birthright delegation divided into three groups according to their personal interest, basketball, soccer and tennis.

Each group practiced with the Israeli kids guided by the local coaches.

After a session of practice they spent time playing and competing.

Some of the young people from St. Louis had an opportunity to talk to the kids, hear about their Bar Mitzvah plans and what they do in their spare time.

We hope they enjoyed their short visit to the region. The Israeli kids enjoyed the opportunity to practice together and get to know people from our partnership communities.
