Israel Police Adopt Atidim in Industry Students
12.8.2009
Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen awards an “adopted” Atidim student with a laptop computer at a moving ceremony.

Fifteen students in the Atidim in Industry and the Business Sector program were adopted by the Israel Police. These students, all from Machon Lev - the Jerusalem College of Technology, will work in the computer and criminal identification divisions and benefit from hands-on experience.

Atidim in Industry and the Business Sector students receive a four-year college scholarship, living stipend and academic support to pursue a degree in the exact sciences and engineering. While still in college, they are adopted by an Israeli company, which provides them with valuable work experience and professional mentoring. Many students continue working at their adopting company upon graduation.

To date, over 140 leading companies in Israel are part of the Atidim in Industry program.
