Dear Bente and Dan:

My husband Marty and I just returned home from volunteering in Israel.  We did many different things but the highlight for me was my experience with Youth Futures.  I worked with the trustees for 7 hours over a 3 day period.   They shared their personal stories with me, we brained stormed over their current dilemmas and their vision for the future.  They talked about the interaction with their student charges and the families. They wrote letters to several people and I helped with some of the English.  They set up lesson plans to improve their English and are building a data base of English speakers to contact for help.

These women are inspiring, dedicated and hard workers.  They have a great appreciation for the monies that are funding this project and most of all they believe they are making a difference in breaking the cycle of poverty in Hatzor.

This experience was very significant for me and you both should be very proud of this project and the women who make it happen.
