During the month of March, various sports competitions were held between schools across the city.  The events that Youth Futures children participated in were girls' netball and boys' soccer.  Among the participating schools were Carmel, Golan, Gilad, and Gilboa-at which Youth Futures operates.

The girls' netball final saw girls from Gilboa School and Netufa School fighting it out for the championship.  After an exciting and close contest, the girls from Netufa School emerged victorious.
In the boys' soccer final it was Gilboa School and Carmel School vying for the championship.  It was the boys team from Gilboa School that took the title; they now go on to represent the city in the northern regional tournament. 

Additionally, the girls' regional soccer tournament was held in Kaduri.  The girls of Gilboa School represented the city with honor and brought back the trophy after a convincing victory in the final.
