As part of the Volunteer Week, which we decided to operate in the local community, the trustees and their children took part on volunteer activities in various places in the region.
Trustee Liraz and her children visited a kindergarten in Sdot Negev. After the Youth Futures children and the kindergarten children had gotten to know each other, through a joint activity of making Hanukkah candles out of plasticine, the children enjoyed a special jazz dance performed by the Youth Futures girls. The boys put on a wonderful theatrical show which they prepared especially for the children, called A Latke Deed. The children's artistic works were put in a special place in the kindergarten, and won a special place in our hearts.
Liraz and the children kept going, and they decided to put on the performance for the residents of an old age home in the area. There, too, the children's great show and dance was well received. The residents cooperated and responded enthusiastically, and enjoyed the show greatly. Bravo to the Liraz and the children, for their sterling work!
