During Leah Golan's visit to Ofakim, accompanied by Andrea Arbel and Orit Braun, she met with a group of Youth Futures Trustees from the "Afikei Orot" group, from the "Hnoar HaOved Ve HaLomed" group, and from the local student group.

Ms. Golan then went on to visit Youth Futures children, who are participating in the Ofakim Music Center's courses, and was met by, Michael Gechtman, Director of the Music Center, who said that "without the Youth Futures program helping and pushing these children forward, they would never have taken part in the Center's activities".

Mr. Gechtman also reported that the children are given music instruments that they are allowed to take home for practice, and that the parents are so excited about their children's participation that they come to the practice sessions to watch and listen proudly.
