The Hadassah Neurim Youth Aliyah Village was established in 1948 to serve pupils evacuated from the Ben Shemen agricultural village during Israel's War of Independence. The village is situated along the Mediterranean Sea Coast, near Netanya.
The Hadassah Women's Zionist Organization has been responsible for the village since 1953, in cooperation with the Jewish Agency for Israel.
Some 400 pupils currently attend the village's high school, including pupils residing in dorms onsite along with pupils residing in nearby towns.
