The quality of judo and karate training at Hadassah Neurim has improved following the completion of the village’s martial arts center.

The new center is a gift of the Youth Aliyah Committee in Australia, which over the years has contributed much to the village including most recently the Lewinnek Education Center.

The Youth Aliyah Committee in Australia is also providing funds for the conversion of the school’s old library into a convention and visitors center for 200 people including a refurbished verandah with a spectacular view of the Mediterranean coast.

Some of these funds were raised from Youth Aliyah Australia’s annual guessing competition.

This year one of the prizes was a painting by award winner artist Judy Cassab, a Holocaust survivor and one of Australia’s leading artists.
